MCHS Drumline wins 3rd Place at Moorpark Battle of the Bands

Congratulations to the Mira Costa Drumline for winning third place at the Moorpark Battle of the Bands this week, and thanks to everyone for their hard work during this year's marching season. Thanks especially to the parents and students  who helped with pit crew, transportation, recycling, and in so many other behind-the-scenes capacities. The marching season is over, but even after the focus shifts to concerts there are many memories to cherish.

MCHS Band wins 1st Place at Fullerton Festival of Bands

This past Saturday, our band won 1st Place in Division A at the Fullerton
Festival of Bands Invitational Field Show Tournament! Our Color Guard won 3rd Place and the Percussion Section won 5th Place in a field of 15 HS bands. This was their best ever performance performed on a very muddy field! You should be very proud of their level of achievement!
